Fly to Naples.

Day 2 Naples

Day 3 Naples – Pompeii – Sorrento Peninsula (52km)

Day 4Sorrento Peninsula – Massa Lubrense – Amalfi – Sorrento Peninsula (75km)

Day 6 Sorrento Peninsula – Rome (265km)

Leave for Rome. Panoramic tour of classical Rome in the afternoon to discover its most beautiful monuments (subject to time): Piazza Venezia with the monument to Victor Emmanuel II, nicknamed the Victor, the Roman Forum and Imperial Forums, and the Colosseum (exterior). Day 7 Rome

Day 10 Perugia – Siena – San Gimignano – Montecatini Terme (249km)

Guided tour of the Siena Cathedral (outside), City Hall, and Piazza del Campo, site of the traditional bi-annual Palio horse race. Head on to San Gimignano for free time in the town. Day 11 Montecatini Terme – Florence – Montecatini Terme

Transfer to Montecatini Terme station (on foot or by bus depending on the distance from the hotel) and take the train to Florence. Guided walking tour of the city to see the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella, the Duomo, the magnificent Piazza della Signoria, and then the Ponte Vecchio, passing by the Uffizi Gallery. Day 12 Montecatini Terme – Lucca – Cinque Terre (145km)
