Battery Service roadside battery testing and replacement service is not available everywhere or for all vehicles, and is for members only. You must first contact Member Services by calling 1-800-222-4357 to check if your vehicle is eligible and if the service is available in your area. If this is not the case, or if you are not a member, we encourage you to work with an Approved CAA Battery Service Location.

Club Assist Canada Inc. Limited Warranty
Members who wish to take advantage of warranty services are asked to call CAA-Quebec Member Services at 1-800-222-4357.
Club Assist Canada Inc., an independent company from CAA-Quebec, offers a limited warranty on all CAA Batteries sold by the CAA-Quebec Battery Service mobile unit. Club Assist warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the duration of the seventy-two (72) month warranty. In the event the battery fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship, it must be replaced by a CAA-Quebec Battery Service mobile service provider or at a CAA-Quebec Battery Service location. The member must have their original bill of sale. Batteries are guaranteed according to the provisions below. No cash refunds.
The price includes battery and charging system testing, battery installation, and a six (6) year national warranty. Any CAA brand passenger vehicle battery will be replaced free of charge within thirty-six (36) months of the original purchase date if it is defective in materials or workmanship. This warranty does not cover the costs of removing the old battery or installing a new one. The warranty begins on the original purchase date and continues even if a warranty replacement is made within the first three years. A CAA brand replacement battery may be purchased at a reduced price after the thirty-six (36) months free replacement period, provided that such purchase is made before the expiration of the seventy-two (72) month limited warranty and the replaced battery is defective in materials or workmanship. If the member purchases a battery at a reduced price between the 37th and 72nd months, they will be entitled to a new six (6) year warranty. The reduced price will be the value of the CAA-Quebec retail price to which one of the following discounts will be applied:
Between the 37th and 48th months following the original purchase date, a 40% discount will be applied to the retail price before taxes.
Between the 49th and 60th months following the original purchase date, a 25% discount will be applied to the retail price before taxes.
Between the 61st and 72nd months following the original purchase date, a 10% discount will be applied to the retail price before taxes.
Sale of a battery charger
A NOCO GENIUS5 charger, purchased from CAA-Quebec Battery Service, carries a one (1) year warranty administered by Club Assist. It covers any internal defects. If the case is damaged or broken, the warranty is void. If you have a problem with your charger, please contact CAA-Quebec Member Services (1-800-222-4357) for return instructions.
Transfer of warranty
The battery warranty will be transferred if ownership of the vehicle is transferred to another CAA-Quebec member. However, it will not be transferred if the battery is installed in another vehicle or if ownership of the vehicle is transferred to a person who is not a CAA-Quebec member.
Warranty exclusions
Club Assist’s limited warranty provides for battery replacement only in the event of a defect in materials or workmanship. It does not apply if the failure was caused by negligence of the member or damage.
List of failures excluded from the warranty
The battery is defective due to a failure of the electrical system (alternator, starter, and/or drain).
Low vehicle use or immobilization of the vehicle for more than 90 days.
The battery is simply discharged and can still be used.
The battery has been used for purposes other than those for which it was intended. Any CAA brand battery used other than in a motor vehicle is no longer covered by the warranty, as such use is neither recommended nor intended by the manufacturer.
The battery case or terminals are broken; the battery has frozen or been damaged; or the battery failure was caused by fire, collision, demolition, or explosion.
IMPORTANT: The document containing all the warranty clauses will be given by the technician on site as requested by the Consumer Protection Office.

You can go to a service location in a number of circumstances and for a variety of reasons:
- To buy a high-performance CAA Battery, whether or not you are a member.
- To have your current CAA Battery checked under warranty.
- To get help when the Battery Service mobile service, available exclusively to members, is temporarily suspended. For example, due to inclement weather or demand exceeding capacity.
- To entrust a vehicle that is not eligible for a Battery Service roadside battery check and installation service.
* Although you have received a price quote for a CAA Battery for your vehicle, your vehicle may require a different battery model from the one offered. Once the patroller is on site, they can confirm which model is the right one to install.
