Day 2Rome

In the morning, get to know ancient Rome. See the Colosseum (outside), explore the Roman Forum, then visit Piazza Venezia and the Capitoline Hill. The afternoon is free for you to explore at leisure or take an optional excursion to the Vatican Museum ($). (B-D)

Day 3Rome – Chianciano Terme (170km)

Spend the morning as you please or take an optional excursion to discover authentic and legendary Rome ($). In the afternoon, get to know baroque Rome including the Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Spagna, the Pantheon, and Piazza Navona At the end of the day, travel to Tuscany. Day 4Chianciano Terme – Siena – San Gimignano – Montecatini Terme (230km)

Head to Siena, jewel of the Tuscan cities. Your sightseeing tour includes the medieval village with Piazza del Campo, Fonte Gaia, Palazzo Pubblico, Torre del Mangia, and the magnificent dome (entry not included). Have lunch on your own, then travel through the beautiful Tuscan countryside to San Gimignano. Explore this quaint medieval town at your own pace. Day 5Montecatini Terme – Florence – Montecatini Terme

Transfer to Montecatini Terme station and take the train to Florence. Tour Florence, an illustrious cradle of art and considered one of Italy’s most beautiful cities. See Piazza del Duomo, the focal point of Florence lined with the city’s most important religious monuments, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, and the cathedral. Day 6Montecatini Terme – Venice (280km)

Travel to Venice, dubbed “La Serenissima.” Transfer by boat to the San Marco neighbourhood.
