Itinerary
- Day 1: Rome – Terracina (110km)
Arrive at the airport and transfer to the hotel in the charming seaside resort of Terracina. Torre del Sole Hotel 4* or similar (D)
- Day 2: Terracina
Enjoy a free morning. Spend the afternoon exploring Terracina, whose historic centre has retained its medieval charm. Check out the cathedral and massive bell tower at Piazza del Municipio, admire the stunning Venditti Palace dating from the first half of the 14th century, and visit the remarkable Temple of Jupiter Anxur (admission included) overlooking the sea. - Day 3: Rome
Travel to the “Eternal City” of Rome, a must-see Italian destination. Take a guided tour of ancient Rome, including the ruins of the Colosseum (exterior view) and the Roman Forum—the former hub of social life in the city—at the foot of Palatine Hill. - Day 6: Capri
Spend all day in Capri, a legendary island known for its wild beauty and Mediterranean elegance. Explore the historic Charterhouse of St. James, take in stunning views from Belvedere Cannone, visit the charming town of Anacapri and Villa San Michele, built in the 19th century and set amid beautiful gardens perched above the sea. - Day 7: Gaeta – Sperlonga
Head to Gaeta. Explore this delightful town on the water’s edge. Check out its architectural remains, historic centre, and city walls, including ancient churches like Sant’Erasmo.
