Transfer by train from Mestre to the historic center of Venice. The walking tour begins in the Cannaregio district and continues through typical Venetian streets and squares to the Rialto area. Discovery of the famous fish, fruit and vegetable market, followed by a crossing of the iconic Rialto Bridge, offering views of the Grand Canal. The visit concludes in St. Mark’s Square with an exterior presentation of its main landmarks: the basilica, Doge’s Palace, the campanile, and the Procuratie. Remainder of the day at leisure.
