Day 1Venice

Arrive at the airport and transfer to the hotel in the Venice area (Mestre). Hotel Belstay Venezia Mestre 4* or similar (D)

Day 2Venice - Verona - Lake Maggiore (350km)

Head to Verona. Go on a guided tour of the city: the Roman amphitheatre (exterior), Via Mazzini, Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori, the Tombs of the Scaligers, Juliet’s balcony (of course!), the Duomo (exterior), and the Adige Docks district. Enjoy some free time, then depart for Lake Maggiore. Dinner and accommodation in the Lake Maggiore region. Hotel Aries 3* or similar (B-D)

Day 3Borromean Islands - Lake Orta

In the morning, take a boat to discover the Borromean Islands, famous for their splendid scenery. Stop at Isola Bella for a tour of Palazzo Borromeo and its gardens. Then, stop at Isola Pescatori, the Island of the Fishermen. In the afternoon, stroll through the narrow lanes of the charming village of Orta San Giulio. Day 4Lake Maggiore - Lake Como - Sirmione (320km)

Tour Como’s historic centre: the beautiful 14th-century cathedral; the Broletto, the old town hall; the Basilica of San Fedele; and more. Continue on to Sirmione, on the shores of Lake Garda, and take a walk to discover its historic centre and castle, built by the Scaliger family (exterior). Day 5Lake Garda - Val di Fassa (180km)

Spend the day discovering Lake Garda, the largest of the Italian lakes. Stop to discover quaint villages with charming historic centres and the small unspoiled ports along the lake, such as Lazise or Malcesine. In the afternoon, head to the Dolomites. Dinner and accommodation in Val di Fassa. Hotel Europa 3* or similar (B-D)

Day 6Dolomites

Morning at leisure. In the afternoon, hike up to Sella Pass to admire the breathtaking 360° view of the Dolomites region and its surrounding peaks: Sassolungo, Sella, Pordoi, and Marmolada. Dinner and accommodation in Val di Fassa. (B-D)

Day 7Dolomites - Venice (190km)

Spend the whole day exploring the Dolomites. Along the way, you can admire the region’s major peaks: Civetta, Monte Pelmo, and Tofane. Then, head over the Falzarego Pass and descend towards Cortina d’Ampezzo. In the afternoon, stroll through the historic centre of Cortina, nicknamed the “Pearl of the Dolomites,” which will host the 2026 Olympic Games.
