Day 2Milan – Turin (143km)

Day 3Turin

Go on a guided walking tour of the historic centre, including Piazza Castello, the Royal Palace, Palazzo Madama, Via Po, and Piazza San Carlo. End at a historic café with a tasting of traditional chocolate. Have lunch where you please. In the afternoon, visit Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile. (B)

Day 4Turin – Barolo – Pollenzo (88km)

Day 5Pollenzo – Alba – Pollenzo (26km)

Day 6Pollenzo – Asti – Montferrat hills – Pollenzo (155km)

Head to Asti for a guided walking tour of the historic centre, with several stops along the way. Visit a sparkling wine producer and enjoy a tasting. Savour a traditional lunch at a trattoria before continuing through the Montferrat hills, with stops in scenic villages. Return to the hotel and spend the evening as you please. (B-L)

Day 7 Pollenzo – Grinzane Cavour – Castiglione Falletto – Serralunga d’Alba – Pollenzo (46km)

Depart for a guided tour of the medieval castle of Grinzane Cavour. Then, head to the charming village of Castiglione Falletto and explore on your own. In the afternoon, visit the medieval castle of Serralunga d’Alba. Return to the hotel and spend the evening as you please. (B)

Day 8Pollenzo – Genoa (145km)

Travel to Genoa in the Liguria region. Check in at the hotel and have lunch on your own.
