Itinerary
- Day 1: Montréal – Bastia
Flight to Bastia.
- Day 2: Bastia region
Arrival at the Bastia airport. Transfer and check in at a hotel in the Bastia region, followed by a welcome reception and dinner. San Pellegrino Hotel 3* (D)
- Day 3: Bastia region – Cap Corse – Bastia region (55km)
Guided tour of Bastia: Place Saint-Nicolas, the Terra Vecchia district, market square, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church, and the old port of Cardo. Departure for Cap Corse, passing through several picturesque villages. Lunch at a restaurant, followed by continuation to the vineyards of Patrimonio (AOC). Wine cellar visit and tasting. Return to the hotel, dinner and an evening with songs and guitar music. (B-L-D)
- Day 4: Bastia region – Calvi – Balagne – Saint-Florent – Bastia region (300km)
Travel to Calvi via Ponte-Leccia, Pietralba, Ogliastro, and the beach of Ostriconi, passing through the “old villages” of Belgodère, Sant’Antonino, Corbara, and Pigna. Lunch at a restaurant, followed by a visit to L’Île-Rousse with free time. Dinner on your own, followed by a visit to L’Île-Rousse and additional free time. Stop at the Balagne olive oil cooperative and discovery of its products. Return to the hotel via Saint-Florent and the Agriates desert, the only desert in Europe. Dinner at the hotel. (B-L-D)
- Day 5: Bastia – Castagniccia region – Orezza – La Porta – Bastia (180km)
Travel to the Castagniccia region, known for its lush and scenic landscapes. Exploration of villages including Piedicroce, Morosaglia, and Cervione. Stop at the Orezza spring, followed by lunch in La Porta, at the foot of the famous bell tower. Return to Bastia and dinner at the hotel. (B-L-D)
- Day 6: Bastia region – Corte – Bocognano – Ajaccio region (150km)
Travel to Corte, the only university town on the island. Ride on a small tourist train, followed by free time and a typical lunch. In the afternoon, departure for Ajaccio via the Vizzavona pass, crossing a forest of majestic Corsican laricio pines. Arrival, check-in, and dinner at the hotel. Campo dell'Oro Hotel 4* (B-L-D)
- Day 7: Ajaccio region
Visit to a farm inn with pig farming. Tasting of farm products and lunch on site. In the afternoon, discovery of local know-how with a visit to a charcuterie workshop and a honey farm. At the end of the day, return and dinner at the hotel. (B-L-D)
- Day 8: Ajaccio region – Porto – Calanques de Piana – Ajaccio region (159km)
Travel to Porto and the Calanques de Piana, one of the most extraordinary sites in Corsica. Lunch and free afternoon in Porto. Optional boat excursion ($) to the Scandola Nature Reserve. At the end of the day, return and dinner at the hotel. (B-D)

- Day 10: Ajaccio region – Bonifacio (N1) – Santa Teresa di Gallura (Sardinia) – Costa Smeralda region (200km)
Travel to Col Saint-Georges, Petreto-Bicchisano, Olmeto, and the Gulf of Valinco. Continue to Sartène and head south, passing by Roccapina Cove. Arrive in Bonifacio. Take a small train tour of the upper town, have lunch at the port, then cross Santa Teresa di Gallura in Sardinia. Travel to Costa Smeralda. Check in at the hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner. - Day 11: Costa Smeralda region – Arzachena – Costa Smeralda region (70km)
In the morning, discovery of an emblematic archaeological site of the Arzachena region. Light lunch with wine tasting in a cellar. In the afternoon, transfer to Porto Cervo for a walk in the marina and free time. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (B-L-D)
- Day 12: Costa Smeralda region – La Maddalena – Alghero region (220km)
Departure for Palau, followed by embarkation for a boat crossing to the Maddalena Islands. Upon arrival, tour with spectacular viewpoints over the archipelago, then free time in the center of La Maddalena. Lunch on your own, then return to Palau and continuation to Alghero. Guided tour of Alghero in the morning, including a walking visit of the historic center: ramparts, bastions, lively squares, and sea views. Tour by small tourist train. Lunch on your own, followed by a visit to a wine cellar and tasting. Return and dinner at the hotel. (B-D)
- Day 14: Alghero region – Cap Caccia and Neptune’s Grotto – Bosa – Alghero region (110km)
Departure from the port of Alghero by boat to Neptune’s Grotto. Guided visit of the grotto, followed by return by boat to Alghero. Lunch on your own, then continuation to Bosa for a walk in the historic center and free time. In the late afternoon, return and dinner at the hotel. (B-L-D)
- Day 15: Alghero region – Barumini – Cagliari (280km)
Head south to visit of the fabulous UNESCO World Heritage archaeological site Su Nuraxi de Barumini. Lunch on your own on the way to Cagliari, a luminous capital city nestled between hills and sea. Check in and have dinner at the hotel. Cagliari T Hotel 4* (B-D)
- Day 16: Cagliari
Guided visit of Cagliari: Castello district, Bastion Saint-Remy, and authentic market. In the afternoon, walk to Poetto beach and free time. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (B-D)
