Day 1Montréal – Bastia

Flight to Bastia.

Day 2Bastia region

Arrival at the Bastia airport. Transfer and check in at a hotel in the Bastia region, followed by a welcome reception and dinner. San Pellegrino Hotel 3* (D)

Day 3Bastia region – Cap Corse – Bastia region (55km)

Guided tour of Bastia: Place Saint-Nicolas, the Terra Vecchia district, market square, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church, and the old port of Cardo. Departure for Cap Corse, passing through several picturesque villages. Lunch at a restaurant, followed by continuation to the vineyards of Patrimonio (AOC). Wine cellar visit and tasting. Return to the hotel, dinner and an evening with songs and guitar music. (B-L-D)

Day 4Bastia region – Calvi – Balagne – Saint-Florent – Bastia region (300km)

Travel to Calvi via Ponte-Leccia, Pietralba, Ogliastro, and the beach of Ostriconi, passing through the “old villages” of Belgodère, Sant’Antonino, Corbara, and Pigna. Lunch at a restaurant, followed by a visit to L’Île-Rousse with free time. Dinner on your own, followed by a visit to L’Île-Rousse and additional free time. Stop at the Balagne olive oil cooperative and discovery of its products. Return to the hotel via Saint-Florent and the Agriates desert, the only desert in Europe. Dinner at the hotel. (B-L-D)

Day 5Bastia – Castagniccia region – Orezza – La Porta – Bastia (180km)

Travel to the Castagniccia region, known for its lush and scenic landscapes. Exploration of villages including Piedicroce, Morosaglia, and Cervione. Stop at the Orezza spring, followed by lunch in La Porta, at the foot of the famous bell tower. Return to Bastia and dinner at the hotel. (B-L-D)

Day 6Bastia region – Corte – Bocognano – Ajaccio region (150km)

Travel to Corte, the only university town on the island. Ride on a small tourist train, followed by free time and a typical lunch. Day 7Ajaccio region

Day 8Ajaccio region – Porto – Calanques de Piana – Ajaccio region (159km)

Travel to Porto and the Calanques de Piana, one of the most extraordinary sites in Corsica. Lunch and free afternoon in Porto. Optional boat excursion ($) to the Scandola Nature Reserve. At the end of the day, return and dinner at the hotel. (B-D)

Day 10Ajaccio region – Bonifacio (N1) – Santa Teresa di Gallura (Sardinia) – Costa Smeralda region (200km)

Travel to Col Saint-Georges, Petreto-Bicchisano, Olmeto, and the Gulf of Valinco. Continue to Sartène and head south, passing by Roccapina Cove. Arrive in Bonifacio. Take a small train tour of the upper town, have lunch at the port, then cross Santa Teresa di Gallura in Sardinia. Travel to Costa Smeralda. Check in at the hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner. Departure for Palau, followed by embarkation for a boat crossing to the Maddalena Islands. Day 13Alghero region
