Itinerary
- Day 1: Fort-de-France
Pickup at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Dinner. Karibea Sainte Luce Hotel 3* or similar (D)
- Day 2: Fort-de-France
Spend the day exploring northern Martinique’s verdant landscapes. Visit Sacré-Cœur de Balata Church before wandering through the magnificent Balata Garden, a botanical paradise of tropical plants from around the world. See the ruins of historic Saint-Pierre, a City of Art and History destroyed in 1902 by the eruption of Montagne Pelée. Head to Morne-Rouge to sample local specialties for lunch. On the way back to the hotel, stop at a renowned distillery to taste one of the island’s finest rums. (B-L-D)
- Day 3: Fort-de-France
Spend the day exploring the south of the island and Trois-Îlets. Visit Domaine de La Pagerie, birthplace of Empress Joséphine, and Maison de la Canne. Follow the scenic Route des Anses through fishing villages to Le Diamant, known for its iconic offshore rock. Head to Sainte-Anne for a seaside lunch, then relax on the turquoise shores and lagoon of Les Salines. Return to the hotel. (B-L-D)

- Day 5: Fort-de-France - Pointe-à-Pitre
Have breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Fort-de-France airport and fly to Pointe-à-Pitre. Meet your local representative at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day as you please. Zenitude Hôtel-Résidences Le Salako 3* or similar (B-D)
- Day 6: Pointe-à-Pitre
Tour Sainte-Anne, drive through the valleys of Grands Fonds, and visit the unique Morne-à-l’Eau cemetery. Head north for dramatic views at Porte d’Enfer and Pointe de la Grande Vigie. Take a dip at Souffleur Beach in Port-Louis before enjoying a musical Antillean lunch. Finally, behold the beauty of the archipelago from the rugged Pointe des Châteaux. Return to the hotel. (B-L-D)
- Day 7: Pointe-à-Pitre
Explore southern Basse-Terre, stopping at Sainte-Marie (landing site of Christopher Columbus) and the Changy Hindu Temple. Walk to the majestic Carbet Falls and take a moment to admire Allée Dumanoir, a striking road lined with royal palms. Savour local specialties at a traditional restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon, tour the Valombreuse Botanical Garden in Petit-Bourg, home to over 1,000 species of tropical flowers and trees. Return to the hotel. (B-L-D)

Free morning. In the afternoon, transfer to the port and sail to Les Saintes. Meet your local representative at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day as you please. Hôtel Kanaoa 3* or similar (B-D)
- Day 10: Les Saintes
After breakfast, take a guided tour of Fort Napoléon. Known for its 17th-century fortifications, the fort offers breathtaking views over one of the world’s most beautiful bays. Enjoy a swim and some downtime at lovely Pompierre Beach. Sample local Saintois specialties for lunch, then explore the village at your leisure. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. (B-L-D)
- Day 11: Les Saintes - Pointe-à-Pitre
After breakfast, transfer to the port and sail to Trois-Rivières. Upon arrival, transfer to the Pointe-à-Pitre airport. (B)
