Day 1Warsaw

Transfer from airport to the hotel. Ibis Warszawa Stare Miasto Hotel 3* or similar

Day 2Warsaw – Malbork – Gdańsk (385km)

Drive north to visit Malbork Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch followed by a sightseeing tour of the Tricity: Gdańsk, one of Poland’s most beautiful cities; Sopot, a seaside resort; and Gdynia, an ancient fishing village. Best Western Arkon Park 4* or similar (B-L-D)

Day 3Gdańsk – Toruń (170km)

Guided tour of the city of Gdańsk, nicknamed “The Pearl of the Baltic.” Highlights include the Town Hall, Neptune’s Fountain and St. Mary’s Church. Lunch at leisure. Continuation to Toruń, an 8th-century medieval city and birthplace of the great astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. Guided tour of the city, renowned for its historic old town and Gothic architecture. Day 4Toruń – Poznan – Wrocław (370km)

City tour of Poznan, cradle of the Polish nation, and stroll around the famous Stary Rynek Square. In the afternoon, drive to Wrocław, the city of 100 bridges. Guided tour of Ostrów Tumski, which means Cathedral Island, and Old Market Square with its Gothic town hall, the very heart of the Old Town. Novotel Wroclaw City 3* or similar (B-D)

Day 5Wrocław – Auschwitz – Krakow (300km)

Drive to Auschwitz. In the afternoon, visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest concentration camp. Novotel Krakow City West 4* or similar (B-D)

Day 6Krakow – Wieliczka – Krakow (30km)

City tour of Krakow: Main Market Square, Wawel Hill and its Royal Castle, then the old Jewish Quarter of Kazimierz. After lunch, excursion to Wieliczka to discover the world’s oldest operating salt mine. Return to Krakow and evening at leisure. (B-L)

Day 7Krakow – Warsaw (300km)

Transfer to Warsaw. Lunch on the way. Arrival in the early afternoon and guided tour of the Polish capital, which also serves as the country’s cultural, scientific, and commercial heart.
