Airport pickup and guided tour of the city through the pedestrian centre to discover its lively walkways, Strøget Street, the Latin Quarter, and iconic monuments such as city hall and the Stork Fountain. Enjoy a welcome dinner. Hotel Absalon 4* (D)

Day 3Copenhagen – Oslo

Enjoy a free morning. In the afternoon, board the ferry to Oslo. Soak up the golden light of the setting sun as the ferry sails across the Kattegat Strait, along the coasts of Denmark and southern Sweden. Enjoy dinner and overnight accommodations on board on Go Nordic Cruiseline. (B-D)

Day 4Oslo

Arrive in Oslo in the morning and take a guided city tour to see the Royal Palace, parliament building, opera house, Akershus Fortress, and Vigeland Park with over 200 sculptures retracing the different stages of human life. Day 5Oslo – Lærdal (310km)

Day 6Lærdal – Nærøyfjord – Bergen (210km)

Head to Flåm at the end of the Nærøyfjord Fjord, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Set sail on a 2-hour cruise between Flåm and Gudvangen. Lunch stop along the way. Head to Bergen via the Rv7, a panoramic road winding through the Norwegian highlands. Arrive in late afternoon. Hotel Thon Bristol Bergen 4* (B-L)

Day 8Bergen – Bodø

In the morning, take a guided tour of Bergen, surrounded by its 7 hills. Explore the old district with its colourful wooden houses and lively port. Have lunch on your own. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Bodø, located just north of the polar circle. Hotel Thon Nordlys 4* (B)

Day 9Bodø – Lofoten Islands (125km)

Board the ferry in Bodø for an approximately 4-hour journey to Moskenes on the beautiful Vestfjord. Along the way, drink in the stunning, otherworldly landscapes of the fjords and Nordland Islands. On the horizon, the Lofoten archipelago stretches over 150km. Arrive in Moskenes, then continue on to Stamsund by coach. Hotel Anker Brygge 4* (B-L)

Day 11Lofoten Islands – Tromsø (425km)

Leave for Tromsø, cultural capital of the Norwegian Arctic. The journey unfolds against a backdrop of rugged fjords and pristine beaches with exceptional flora. Have lunch, then at day’s end arrive in Tromsø, a lively city located above the polar circle. Hotel Thon Tromsø 4* (B-L)

Day 12Tromsø – Honningsvåg (500km)

Drive through the fjords, then take some ferries ferry from Breivikeidet to Svensby, then from Lyngseidet to Olderdalen. The landscapes are magnificent. Continue north through the Storslett region to Alta with a stop for lunch. Have lunch on your own. Hit the road and take the underwater tunnel to the Island of Magerøy. Day 13Honningsvåg – North Cape – Ivalo (391km)

Day 14Ivalo – Helsinki

Take a 2-hour guided tour of the capital to see Senate Square, overlooked by its white cathedral, and the Katajanokka district, with its Russian-influenced architecture.
