Itinerary
- Day 1: Oslo
Arrive at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day as you please. Comfort Børsparken Hotel 3*+ or similar
- Day 2: Oslo – Geilo (280km)
Visit the Norwegian capital, including City Hall, the Royal Palace, and world-renowned Vigeland Park. Then explore the vast Norwegian Museum of Cultural History After lunch, set out for Geilo via the scenic Hallingdal Valley. Geilo Hotel 3* or similar (B-L-D)
- Day 3: Geilo – Bergen (200km)
Drive to Bergen across the Hardangervidda plateau, home to a large reindeer colony. Stop at the majestic Voringfoss waterfall. Arrival in Bergen in the afternoon and guided tour of the city, including a visit to the fish market. Hotel Scandic Bergen City 3*+ or similar (B-D)
- Day 4: Bergen – Gudvangen – Bøverdal (270km)
After breakfast, travel to Gudvangen, nestled at the end of the Nærøyfjord. Embark for a 2h cruise on the Sognefjord. Then travel through Jotunheimen National Park on the spectacular Sognefjell mountain road. Elveseter Hotel 3* or similar (B-L-D)
- Day 5: Bøverdal – Lom – Trondheim (320km)
Set out for the charming village of Lom. After lunch, continue on to Trondheim for a sightseeing tour of the city. Enjoy dinner at your leisure in the city centre. Scandic Hell Hotel 4* or similar (B-L)
- Day 6: Trondheim – Bodø – Lofoten A1 (350km)
Transfer to the Trondheim airport and fly to Bodø. Arrive and continue by road to the Lofoten Islands. Embark for a cruise on the breathtaking Vestfjord. - Day 7: Lofoten Islands – Harstad (340km)
Spend the day exploring the Lofoten Islands. Visit the archipelago’s most picturesque ports, then travel to Harstad. Scandic Harstad Hotel 3*+ or similar (B-L-D)
- Day 8: Harstad – Tromsø (300km)
Travel through the Snofjellet mountains and along the Otofjorden. Arrive in Tromsø, known as the “Paris of the North,” and enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city. Thon Tromsø Hotel 3*+ or similar (B-L)
- Day 9: Tromsø – Alta – North Cape – Honningsvåg (500km)
Take the ferry to Olderdalen. Stop over in Alta before arriving on Magerøy, the island that is home to North Cape. In the evening, take an excursion to North Cape, the headland at the edge of Europe, to admire spectacular Arctic Ocean views and the colours of the midnight sun. - Day 10: Honningsvåg – Karasjok – Saariselkä (425km)
Travel by road to Karasjok, cultural centre of the Sami people, then cross the border into Finland. Continue along the shore of Lake Inari, with its 3000+ islands. Arrive in Saariselkä, Lapland Riekonlinna. Hotel 3* or similar (B-L-D)
- Day 11 : Saariselkä – Rovaniemi – Helsinki
Continue across the Finnish Lapland tundra to Rovaniemi. Cross the Arctic Circle and stop off to visit Santa Clause Village. In the evening, board the night train to Helsinki. (B-L)
- Day 12: Helsinki – Stockholm
Guided tour of Helsinki, including the iconic Temppeliaukio Church, Sibelius Monument, Senate Square, etc. Lunch and free time in the capital. Later, embarkation on a Silja Line ship bound for Stockholm. (B-L)
- Day 13: Stockholm
Have breakfast on board. Disembark for a guided tour of the city ,built on 14 islands and affectionately known as the “Venice of the North.” See the sights, including City Hall and the Royal Palace. Spend the afternoon as you please. Scandic Malmen Hotel 4*+ or similar (B-L)
- Day 14: Stockholm
After breakfast, transfer to the Stockholm Airport. (B)
