Drive to Bergen across the Hardangervidda plateau, home to a large reindeer colony. Stop at the majestic Voringfoss waterfall. Arrival in Bergen in the afternoon and guided tour of the city, including a visit to the fish market. Hotel Scandic Bergen City 3*+ or similar (B-D)
After breakfast, travel to Gudvangen, nestled at the end of the Nærøyfjord. Embark for a 2h cruise on the Sognefjord. Then travel through Jotunheimen National Park on the spectacular Sognefjell mountain road. Elveseter Hotel 3* or similar (B-L-D)

Transfer to the Trondheim airport and fly to Bodø. Arrive and continue by road to the Lofoten Islands. Embark for a cruise on the breathtaking Vestfjord. Take the ferry to Olderdalen. Stop over in Alta before arriving on Magerøy, the island that is home to North Cape. In the evening, take an excursion to North Cape, the headland at the edge of Europe, to admire spectacular Arctic Ocean views and the colours of the midnight sun. Travel by road to Karasjok, cultural centre of the Sami people, then cross the border into Finland. Continue along the shore of Lake Inari, with its 3000+ islands. Arrive in Saariselkä, Lapland Riekonlinna. Hotel 3* or similar (B-L-D)
Continue across the Finnish Lapland tundra to Rovaniemi. Cross the Arctic Circle and stop off to visit Santa Clause Village. In the evening, board the night train to Helsinki. (B-L)
Guided tour of Helsinki, including the iconic Temppeliaukio Church, Sibelius Monument, Senate Square, etc. Lunch and free time in the capital. Later, embarkation on a Silja Line ship bound for Stockholm. (B-L)
