Tour Vilnius, including the neoclassical cathedral built on a former pagan site, transformed into an art gallery during the Soviet era, and restored for worship in 1989. Leave for Trakai, Lithuania’s former capital, known for its Gothic castle set on Lake Galvė. Tour the medieval town and museum dedicated to the history of the Grand Duchy. Have lunch, then cross into Poland and the Masurian Lake District. Hotel Robert’s Port 3* or similar (B-L-D)
Enjoy a morning cruise on the lakes of the charming Masuria region. Continue to Kętrzyn to tour the Wolf’s Lair (Wolfsschanze), Adolf Hitler’s wartime headquarters and primary residence between 1941 and 1944. Journey on to the beautiful city of Gdańsk.
