Itinerary
- Day 1: Oslo
Airport pickup and transfer to the hotel. Comfort Hotel Børsparken 3* or similar
- Day 2: Oslo – Lillehammer – Kvitfjell (245km)
In the morning, take a guided tour of Oslo to see the royal palace, national theatre, parliament, medieval Akershus Fortress, city hall, Vigeland Park, and other points of interest. Then, continue on to the Gudbrandsdalen Valley and stop in Lillehammer for a scenic tour of the city that hosted the 1994 Olympic Games. Go up to the top of the ski jump for a stunning view of the region. Lunch en route. Kvitfjell Hotel 3* or similar (B-L-D)
- Day 3: Kvitfjell – Troll’s Path – Alesund (320km)
Head to Alesund via the famous Troll’s Path, renowned for its hairpin turns and towering views over the entire region. Pass through the villages of Dombås, Bjorli, Linge, and Sjøholt on your way to the charming town of Alesund, which was completely destroyed in 1904 and rebuilt in an Art Nouveau style. - Day 4: Alesund – Geirangerfjord – Førde (300km)
Feast your eyes on traditional Norwegian landscapes as you make your way to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Geirangerfjord. Take a one-hour cruise, then have lunch in Hellesylt. Then head to the Briksdal Glacier and take a short hike to enjoy the natural beauty of this slice of Norway. Continue on through Nordfjord with its fjords and glacier on your way to Førde. - Day 5: Førde – Lavik – Bergen (175km)
Depart for Lavik, crossing typical landscapes of western Norway. Set sail for a short ferry ride between Lavik and Ytre Oppedal, with breathtaking views of the calm waters of the Sognefjord, the longest and deepest fjord in the country. Continue on to Bergen, Norway’s former capital and second largest city after Oslo. Take a scenic tour of the city in the afternoon. Heimen Hotel 3* or similar (B-L)
- Day 6: Bergen – Hardangerfjord – Gol (300km)
Head to the Hardangerfjord Fjord and stop at the stunning Steinsdalsfossen waterfall. Lunch en route. Take an unforgettable cruise on the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord between Flåm and Gudvangen. - Day 7: Gol – Oslo (200km)
Continue through the Hallingdal Valley and stop at the stave church in Torpo. Travel along Tyrifjorden, a lake that has inspired numerous legends. Arrive in Oslo and spend the rest of the day on your own to explore the charming Norwegian capital. Comfort Hotel Børsparken 3* or similar (B)
