Day 2Oslo – Røros

Discover Oslo, Norway’s capital, nestled between forests and fjords. Guided tour of the city’s main attractions, including City Hall, the Royal Palace, the Opera House, traditional wooden residential districts, Frogner Park with its famous Vigeland sculptures, and Akershus Fortress. In the afternoon, travel by train through Norway’s valleys, forests and lake-dotted landscapes to Røros, a charming historic town. Dinner. Bergstadens Hotel 3* or similar (B-D)

Day 3Røros – Trondheim

Morning guided tour of Røros, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest wooden towns in Europe. Stroll through its picturesque streets, historic courtyards and artisan workshops. Free time to enjoy its unique atmosphere. In the afternoon, travel by train to Trondheim, Norway’s third-largest city. Thon Nidaros Hotel 3* or similar (B)

Day 4Trondheim

Guided discovery of Trondheim, the former Viking capital located on the banks of the Nidelva River. This green and welcoming city is known for its historic centre, pedestrian streets and charming traditional neighbourhoods. View the majestic Nidaros Cathedral, considered one of the finest Gothic monuments in Northern Europe. Afternoon at leisure. (B)

Day 5Trondheim – Bergen

Transfer to the port of Trondheim and embark aboard a Havila ship for a unique voyage along the Norwegian coast. This cruise follows part of the famous Coastal Express route, which has connected Norway’s coastal communities for more than 130 years. Sail through the vast Trondheim Fjord and along a coastline dotted with fishing villages, mountains and islands. Highlights include passages through Kristiansund and Molde. Meals served on board showcase regional specialties, while the comfort of the vessel allows guests to fully appreciate Norway’s spectacular scenery. Overnight on board in an outside double cabin. Day 6Bergen

Breakfast on board while continuing the voyage along the Norwegian coastline. Lunch on board. Arrival in Bergen, the capital of the fjords, whose historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Guided walking tour of the harbour, the Fish Market, the historic Bryggen Hanseatic district and its iconic colourful wooden houses. Day 7Bergen – Sognefjord

Day at leisure. In the late afternoon, embark on a cruise through the Bergen archipelago toward the majestic Sognefjord, Norway’s longest fjord. The crossing offers magnificent views of coastal villages and fjord branches, including the spectacular Nærøyfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Day 8Sognefjord – Oslo

Morning at leisure before an enjoyable cruise along the Aurlandsfjord to the village of Flåm, nestled in the heart of the Sognefjord. Board the famous Flåm Railway, considered one of the world’s most scenic train journeys, travelling through mountains, waterfalls and spectacular landscapes to Myrdal. Continue by train to Oslo across the vast Hardangervidda Plateau and the lush valleys of southern Norway. A day filled with breathtaking scenery. (B)
