Flight to Berlin.
Arrival in Berlin and transfer to the hotel. Free time. In the evening, welcome dinner in a typical Berlin restaurant. Sheraton Berlin Grand Esplanade Hotel 4* or similar (D)
Discovery of the famous Kurfürstendamm and the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, which became a symbol of Berlin after the Second World War, as well as the Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate. In the afternoon, transfer to Potsdam. Visit of historic Potsdam as far as Glienicke Bridge, offering magnificent views of the palaces and the parks of Babelsberg. Continuation with a walk in the New Garden, followed by an exterior visit of Cecilienhof Palace for a view of the Marble Palace. The visit concludes with the discovery of Sanssouci Park. Departure for Dresden, capital of Saxony. Free time upon arrival for lunch. Continuation with a walk from the famous Zwinger Palace to the Semper Opera House, passing the cathedral and the Dresden Royal Palace. In the evening, dinner in a typical Saxon restaurant. Continuation to Wrocław. Known as the “Venice of Poland,” the city is crossed by five rivers and features twelve islands as well as more than 150 bridges. Departure for the beautiful city of Kraków. Check-in at the hotel followed by free time for lunch. In the afternoon, visit of the famous Wieliczka Salt Mine. In operation since the 13th century, this historic site forms an impressive underground labyrinth of galleries, chambers, and chapels carved out of salt. Panoramic tour followed by a walking tour of the city, including Wawel Cathedral with the Sigismund Bell, as well as St. Mary’s Basilica located on the Market Square. Transfer to Gdańsk. En route, visit of Malbork Castle, the largest brick castle in the world. Beginning of the day with a visit of Gdańsk’s Old Town. During the walk, view of the main sites, including the Golden Gate, Neptune Fountain, the late Gothic Artus Court, and the medieval Town Hall. Continuation with a visit of St. Mary’s Church, the largest church in Poland and one of the oldest buildings in the city. In the afternoon, transfer to Sopot and Gdynia, which together with Gdańsk form a three-city metropolitan area. In Sopot, walk along the longest wooden pier in Europe, followed by the discovery of Gdynia, known for its harbor. Return to Gdańsk at the end of the day. (B)
