Day 1Seoul

Arrive at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy a welcome dinner. Nine Tree by Parnas Seoul Myeongdong II Hotel 4* or similar

Day 2Seoul

Spend the day exploring South Korea’s fascinating capital city by public transit. Visit magnificent Gyeongbokgung Palace, one of five palaces from the Joseon dynasty. Then, head to the Folk Museum, known for its collection of traditional Korean artifacts. Experience Zen meditation at Jogyesa Temple, one of the largest in Seoul. Enjoy a delicious bibimbap lunch and stroll through the lively Bukchon and Insadong neighbourhoods. In the evening, take in the musical Cookin’ Nanta. (B-L)

Day 3Seoul – Gyeongju – Yangdong – Gyeongju

After breakfast, take the train to Gyeongju, the spiritual and cultural capital of Korea. On arrival, tour Yangdong Folk Village, set in a beautifully preserved natural landscape with Seolchangsan Mountain on the horizon. This UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled in the valleys is known for its 160 traditional houses, some over 500 years old. Transfer to the hotel in the late afternoon. Day 4Gyeongju – Busan

Tour Gyeongju, nicknamed the “Museum Without Walls,” designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. Visit Bulguksa Temple, an architectural gem, and explore Seokguram Grotto, carved in the 8th century. Have lunch and stroll through the Tumuli Park archaeological site. Tour the royal tombs, including the “Heavenly Horse Tomb” and the Noseo-dong tombs. Make a final stop at Cheomseongdae Observatory, the oldest in East Asia, built in 634. Head to Busan. Day 5Busan

Head to Gamcheon Culture Village, famous for its colourful houses, murals, and sculptures by local residents. Then, stroll through the immense Jagalchi Fish Market and nearby international market, two must-sees in South Korea. In the early afternoon, visit the United Nations Memorial Cemetery, a one-of-a-kind site maintained by the UN since 1960. (B-L)

Day 6Busan – Seoul
