- Day 1: Edinburgh
Arrive at the Edinburgh airport and transfer to the hotel. Mercure Edinburgh Haymarket Hotel 3* or similar
- Day 2: Edinburgh – St Andrews – Dundee (105km)
Take a scenic tour of Edinburgh before visiting Edinburgh Castle. Enjoy lunch on your own, then head to St Andrews to walk through this town recognized worldwide as the cradle of golf. - Day 3: Dundee – Arbroath – Stonehaven – Aberdeen (115km)
Set off for the charming coastal town of Arbroath, known for its rich history and abbey. Enjoy lunch on your own, then continue to Aberdeen. Stop for photos at Dunnottar Castle, a breathtaking clifftop fortress with stunning views of the North Sea. Then, take a scenic tour of Aberdeen, often called the “Granite City” due to its distinctive grey stone architecture. Visit the Aberdeen Maritime Museum. Hilton Aberdeen Hotel 4* or similar (B-D)
- Day 4: Aberdeen – Elgin – Fort George – Inverness (175km)
Continue north to visit Elgin Cathedral, dubbed the “Lantern of the North.” This magnificent 13th-century structure features stunning Gothic architecture. Have lunch and continue to Fort George, one of Great Britain’s most impressive military fortifications. Arrive in Inverness and take a scenic walking tour of the capital of the Highlands. - Day 5: Inverness – Glencoe – Tyndrum (180km)
After breakfast, visit the iconic Urquhart Castle, perched on the banks of legendary Loch Ness. In the afternoon, explore Glencoe Valley, one of the most spectacular and significant valleys in Scotland. Pop into the Glencoe Valley welcome centre to learn more about the region. - Day 6: Tyndrum – Loch Lomond – Glasgow (100km)
Take a scenic ride through Trossachs National Park, often referred to as the “Highlands in miniature.” Optional: Cruise on Loch Lomond ($). Continue on to Glasgow and enjoy lunch on your own. - Day 7: Glasgow – Falkirk – Edinburgh (85km)
Tour a whisky distillery to see how this famous spirit is made and do a bit of tasting. Continue towards Edinburgh. Stop to admire The Kelpies, two monumental, 30m-tall horsehead sculptures located in Falkirk. Arrive in Edinburgh, then spend the rest of the day as you please. Optional: Scottish dinner show ($).
