Visit to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Located south of Xi’an within the Jianfu Temple complex, this historic pagoda was built between 707 and 709 during the Tang Dynasty under Emperor Zhongzong. Introduction to Chinese calligraphy. Combining writing and painting, spiritual practice and personal discipline, calligraphy has held a privileged place in Chinese civilization since ancient times.
