Itinerary
- Days 1 and 2: Montréal – Bangkok
Fly to Bangkok.
- Day 3: Bangkok
Airport pickup and transfer to the hotel. In the evening, take a dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River. Solitaire Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 4* (D)
- Day 4: Bangkok
Take a tour of Wat Phra Kaeo Temple and the Grand Palace. Continue to Wat Pho Temple and the statue of the Reclining Buddha. Then explore the canals by boat, with a stop at Baan Silapin. Visit Wat Arun Temple. (B)
- Day 5: Bangkok
Tour the city by bike, then cross the Chao Phraya River by boat. Continue to the botanical gardens at Si Nakhon Khuean Khan Park, then visit the villages of Bang Krachao. Spend the rest of the day as you please. Optional excursion: visit the market and sample street food in the evening ($). (B-L)
- Day 6: Bangkok – Ratchaburi – Kanchanaburi (197km – 4hr. 15min.)
Head to the Damnoen Saduak floating market. In the afternoon, take a train ride on the Death Railway, including the Bridge over the River Kwai. Spend the rest of the day as you please. Felix River Kwai Resort Hotel Kanchanaburi 4* (B-L-D)
- Day 7: Kanchanaburi – Erawan National Park – Kanchanaburi (142km – 3hr.)
Visit Erawan National Park, known for its jungle and waterfalls. Spend the rest of the day as you please. (B-L)
- Day 8: Kanchanaburi – Ayutthaya (165km – 2hr. 45min.)
Transfer to Ayutthaya. On the way, stop at three temples: Wat Mahathat, Wat Ratchaburana, and Wat Phra Si Sanphet. Spend the rest of the day as you please. Krungsri River Hotel 4* (B-L)
- Day 9: Ayutthaya – Uthai Thani – Sukhothai (390km – 5hr. 45min.)
Transfer to Uthai Thani. Tour the city, including Wat Tha Sung Temple. Then take a cruise along the Sakae Krang River, with lunch on board. Continue to Sukhothai. Legendha Sukhothai Resort 4* (B-L-D)
- Day 10: Sukhothaï
Explore Sukhothai province and the village of Ban Na Ton Chan. Board an e-tan (local tractor) and learn about traditional textiles, followed by a tasting of local dishes. Next, take a bike ride through the old town of Sukhothai. Stop at various temples and monasteries. (B-L-D)
- Day 11: Sukhothai – Phrae – Chiang Rai (402km – 6hr. 50min.)
Visit the Vongburi House. Then tour a private complex belonging to a collector before enjoying a homemade meal. Continue on to Chiang Rai, With a stop at Lake Phayao on the way. Le Patta Hotel Chiang Rai 4* (B-L-D)
- Day 12: Chiang Rai
Visit the Baan Dam Museum. Then, visit Wat Rong Khun Temple. Enjoy lunch in the neighbourhood and spend the rest of the day as you please. Optional excursion: night tour of Chiang Rai by tuk-tuk ($). (B-L)
- Day 13: Chiang Rai
Visit the old city and the Wat Pa Sak Ngam and Wat Phra That Chedi Luang temples. Continue on to the Golden Triangle. Stroll through charming villages, and enjoy a typical lunch. Stop in a village belonging to the Phami Akha tribe. Sample local coffee, then spend the rest of the day as you please. (B-L)
- Day 14: Chiang Mai – Chiang Rai (190km – 3hr. 45min.)
Head for Chiang Rai. Check in at the hotel. then spend the rest of the day as you please. Optional excursion: evening tour of Chiang Mai by songthaew ($). Bella Nara Hotel 4* (B)
- Day 15: Chiang Mai
Travel to Wat Doi Suthep Temple and stroll through the park. In the evening, head to an organic farm. Meet your hosts and enjoy a traditional meal prepared on site. (B-D)

Free day. Optional excursion: half-day visit to an elephant sanctuary ($). (B)
- Day 17: Chiang Mai – Phuket
