Day 5Athens - Trikala - Kalambaka (340km)

Depart early in the morning from Athens and journey north through the fertile plains of Thessaly, passing by cities like Lamia and Trikala. Enjoy a scenic drive toward the towering rock formations of Meteora, an awe-inspiring landscape where nature meets spiritual grandeur. In the afternoon, arrive in Kalambaka, a charming town nestled beneath the cliffs of Meteora. Explore this UNESCO World Heritage site where age-old monasteries are suspended in the sky atop colossal sandstone pinnacles. Day 6Kalambaka - Thermopylae - Lamia - Delphi (216km)

After breakfast, visit more of the Meteora Monasteries, marveling at their construction and the breathtaking views of the valley below. These spiritual havens were built by monks seeking isolation and peace from the 14th century onward. Depart southward, making a short stop at Thermopylae, the historic battlefield where King Leonidas and his 300 Spartans made their legendary stand against the Persians. See the monument to Leonidas, standing proudly beside the road. Continue through Lamia and Itea, climbing the slopes of Mount Parnassus to reach Delphi, once considered the navel of the ancient world. Day 7Delphi - Rion - Antirion - Olympia (236km)
