Itinerary
- Day 1: Montreal – Athens, Greece
Flight to Athens.
- Day 2: Athens
Arrive in Athens. Transfer to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day as you please. Enjoy a welcome dinner at a tavern. Spend the night in Athens. Polis Grand Hotel 4* (D)
- Day 3: Athens
Go on a guided tour of Athens. Explore the Acropolis and its iconic monuments. Then, take a sightseeing tour of the city. (B)
- Day 4: Athens – Tirana
Transfer to the airport and fly to Albania. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day as you please. Tirana International Hotel 4* (B)
- Day 5: Tirana
Go on a guided tour of Tirana. Visit the Bektashi World Centre, followed by the Bunk’Art 1 Museum. Continue on to the city centre. See the Et’hem Bey Mosque, the Skanderbeg Monument, and the surrounding opera façades. Visit the Resurrection of Christ Cathedral. Return to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day as you please. (B)
- Day 6: Tirana – Krüje – Shkodër – Tirana
Travel to Krüje. Visit Krujë Castle and the National History Museum, and stroll through the old bazaar. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Tour workshops producing cheese, jam, cured meats, and wine. In the afternoon, drive to Shkodër. Visit Rozafa Castle, then walk through the historic centre. Return to Tirana in the late afternoon. (B-L)
- Day 7: Tirana – Korçë
Travel to Korçë. Stop near Elbasan. Continue on to Lake Ohrid. In the afternoon, arrive in Korçë for a sightseeing tour of the city, then visit the old bazaar. Visit the Mirahori Mosque, then the Resurrection of Christ Orthodox Cathedral. Pass by the Museum of Education. Transfer to the hotel. Hani i Pazarit Boutique Hotel 4* (B)
- Day 8: Korçë
Visit the National Museum of Medieval Art. Then, travel to the village of Voskopoja. Enjoy some free time. Return to Korçë and spend the late afternoon as you please. (B)

Travel to Gjirokastër. Stop near the Sarantaporos River for a possible visit to the Perati Bridge. Continue along the edge of Fir of Hotovë-Dangëlli National Park. Stop at the Baxho Meshini bunker. - Day 10: Gjirokastër
Visit Gjirokastër Castle. Continue on to the village of Labova e Kryqit. Stop for a possible short hike. Have a traditional lunch at a local’s home. Return to Gjirokastër to visit the Ethnographic Museum. In the late afternoon, take an Albanian cooking workshop. (B-L)
- Day 11: Gjirokastër – Vlorë
Travel to the Blue Eye. Continue on to Butrint National Park. Enjoy some free time. Drive along the Albanian Riviera to Porto Palermo Castle. Continue on via the Llogara Pass. Stop for a possible walk in Llogara National Park. Arrive in Vlorë and check in at the hotel. Hotel Partner & Spa 4* (B)
- Day 12: Vlorë – Berat
Travel to Berat. Drive to St. Mary’s Monastery in Zvërnec and the Church of the Holy Trinity. Continue on to Apollonia Archeological Park. Head to Berat. Upon arrival, explore the historic neighbourhoods. Check in at the hotel. Portik Hotel 4* (B)
- Day 13: Berat
Explore the city and its surroundings. Climb up to Berat Castle. Spend the rest of the day as you please. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner and wine tasting at a renowned winery. (B-D)
