Flight to Montevideo.

Day 2Montevideo

Early morning arrival, transfer to the hotel and room available upon arrival. Free day. In the evening, welcome dinner at a local restaurant. After Montevideo Hotel 4* (B‑D)

Day 3Montevideo

Panoramic tour of Montevideo including the historic center, Plaza Independencia, 18 de Julio Avenue and the Legislative Palace. Drive through the Prado district, Batlle Park and Centenario Stadium. Continuation to the Carrasco district. Return via the Rambla with views over the coastline of the Uruguayan capital. (B)

Day 4Montevideo – San José – Montevideo (107km – 1h45)

Day at La Rábida estancia, a 3,650‑hectare agricultural property located on the banks of the Río de la Plata. Welcome by the hosts and introduction to rural Uruguayan life. Discovery of the facilities and natural surroundings between countryside and coastal cliffs. Traditional asado with wine. Return to Montevideo in the late afternoon. (B‑D)

Day 5Montevideo – Cuchilla Pereyra – Montevideo (50km – 1h30)

Discovery of the Spinoglio winery, located north of Montevideo in the heart of the Cuchilla Pereyra wine region. Founded in the 19th century by Luigi Spinoglio, the property combines historic architecture with modern winemaking techniques. Guided visit of the vineyards and facilities to learn more about the history and production methods. The experience continues with a tasting of four wines served with a platter of cheeses and cured meats, followed by lunch. Return to Montevideo in the late afternoon. (B‑D)

Day 6Montevideo – Colonia del Sacramento (179km – 2h15)

Drive to Colonia del Sacramento and check‑in at the hotel. Afternoon walking tour of the historic quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, exploring its streets and landmarks. Founded in 1680 by the Portuguese, the city features 주요 sites including the Portón de Campo, Calle de los Suspiros, the ruins of the San Francisco monastery, the lighthouse, the Government House and the Basilica of the Holy Sacrament. Drive through the districts to La Barra, known for its undulating bridges, followed by a visit to the Ralli Museum and its contemporary art collection. Free day. Optional excursion ($): discovery of olive oil production. Guided visit of olive groves and the mill for an introduction to cultivation methods and the production process, from olive to oil. Guided tasting of two to three extra virgin olive oils, served with olives and homemade focaccia, followed by a traditional lunch including steak, sides and a typical dessert. (B)

Day 11Punta del Este

Free day. Optional excursion ($): discovery of a Japanese garden during a guided visit with its creator, for an understanding of its principles, symbols and philosophy. Free time to explore the site at leisure, including bridges, ponds, waterfalls and contemplative areas. Countryside picnic featuring local products. (B)
