Meeting with a storytelling fisherman, followed by a Madelinot-style lobster tasting workshop and awarding of a connoisseur’s certificate. Lobster dinner at the inn to cap off the day in style. Visit to Old Harry, one of the Islands’ three English-speaking communities, once a walrus-hunting hotspot, the Little Red School House Historical Museum, the Maison du Potier (Potter’s House) and St. Peter’s-by-the-sea Church to see the exhibit honouring those lost to the sea. Travel to Havre-Aubert Island for a guided tour of the La Grave historic site. Climb up the Buttes des Demoiselles for a breathtaking view of Entry Island. Have lunch at Café de la Grave, then head to Cap-aux-Meules and L’Étang-du-Nord: lookout, Site de la Côte, Borgot lighthouse, and shops. Stop at a local island producer. Morning tour of Grosse-Île, including the fishing port, Cap-Dauphin and Holy Trinity Church, renowned for its stunning stained-glass windows. Three-course lunch. Hike on Grande Échouerie beach.
