Roadside Assistance is available 24 hours a day, anywhere in Canada and United States. You are entitled to 4 service calls per membership year, whether you are behind the wheel or sitting in the passenger seat.

If we can’t solve your problem in any other way, we will tow your vehicle to the service location of your choice.
CAA Go: Not applicable
CAA Classic: Up to 5km away
CAA Plus | CAA Plus RV: Up to 160km away
CAA Premier: Up to 160km (3 other services) or up to 320km (1 service)
CAA Premier RV: Up to 160km or up to 320km for 1 service for a passenger vehicle
Should you be unable to drive, we will tow your vehicle and drive you back to your place of residence at the time of your request. First kilometres are included: 25km for CAA Classic, CAA Plus® and CAA Plus® RV members, and 50km for CAA Premier® and CAA Premier® RV members.
We test your battery preventively wherever you may be, for example at home or at work. If necessary, we can also boost it or replace it for a new one on the spot. This service is not available to CAA Go members.
If the battery that powers the electric vehicle is dead, we’ll tow your vehicle to the nearest charging station.
CAA Go: Not applicable

CAA Premier | CAA Premier RV: Up to 160km away for 3 services or up to 320km away for 1 service
If the 12V battery used to start and operate the accessories is dead, we’ll boost it on the spot.
A battery boost will be provided in an attempt to start your vehicle. This service is not available to CAA Go members.
Minor or temporary adjustments can be made in an attempt to enable your vehicle to operate safely under its own power. This service is not available to CAA Go members.
In the event of a flat tire, we can replace the tire with the spare tire if it is inflated and serviceable. This service is not available to CAA Go members.
We’ll deliver a sufficient quantity of fuel to enable you to reach the nearest service station. Your vehicle may also be towed to a service station.
CAA Classic members must pay for the fuel. Free for CAA Plus®, CAA Plus® RV, CAA Premier®, and CAA Premier® members.
This service is not available to CAA Go members.
Your vehicle will be serviced if it is stuck in snow or mud. It must be accessible by normal public roads.
CAA Go: Not applicable
CAA Classic: 1 service vehicle
CAA Plus | CAA Plus RV | CAA Premier | CAA Premier RV: 2nd service vehicle for up to 1 hour, if required
If you can no longer access the interior of your vehicle, we’ll try to unlock your doors. If the services of a locksmith are necessary, we will reimburse the cost.
CAA Go: Not applicable
CAA Classic: Up to $50
CAA Plus | CAA Plus RV: Up to $100
CAA Premier | CAA Premier RV: Up to $150
This benefit is available to CAA Plus® RV and CAA Premier® RV members. It includes most Roadside Assistance services, adapted to recreational vehicles: towing (up to 160km), extrication/winching, battery boosting, fuel delivery, etc.
This benefit is available to CAA Plus® RV and CAA Premier® RV members in Quebec only. It includes towing (up to 160km), fuel delivery, battery boosting, extrication/winching and Safe Ride Service. Snowmobile assistance is available from November 15 to April 15.
As a CAA Premier or CAA Premier RV member, you could get up to 2 days of free car rental when your personal vehicle needs to be towed due to a mechanical breakdown.

When we arrive, you’ll need your CAA-Quebec membership card, registration certificate, and an ID card.

Service Tracker is a tool that makes your Roadside Assistance experience all the more zen!
This online tool is currently available in Montréal, Québec and some other urban centres. It lets you know the status of your request in real time, as well as the estimated time of arrival of the service vehicle.
