Day 1Palma – Magaluf (30km)

Pickup at Palma airport and transfer to the hotel. Dinner. HSM Atlantic Park Hotel 4* or similar (D)

Day 2Palma – Sóller – Sa Calobra – Inca (100km)

Spend the day exploring Mallorca’s stunning landscapes. Board an electric train from 1912 and cross the Serra de Tramuntana mountains to reach the Sóller Valley. By tram, travel through orange and lemon groves to the port of Sóller, carved into the cliffs. Board a boat and sail to the beach at Sa Calobra, where you’ll find an unspoiled coastline and impressive cliffs. Travel by coach to the highest pass on the island and take the famous winding road, dubbed “the tie knot,” on the way down. Stop at Inca, a village known for its shoe and leather workshops and visit an exhibition of handicrafts. (B-L-D)

Day 3Palma (45km)

Spend the morning exploring Palma. Stroll through the gardens at Parc de la Mar, then step inside Palma Cathedral for a tour, including the museum and the renowned Chapel of the Blessed Sacrament decorated by the artist Miquel Barceló. Then visit the town hall, Almudaina Palace on the coast, and La Lonja, an architectural masterpiece. Stop at the iconic Bellver Castle and take in sweeping views over the city before returning to the hotel. Spend the afternoon as you please. (B-D)

Day 4Alcúdia – Formentor (200km)

In the morning, travel through the town of Inca to Alcúdia. In Roman times, this is where the capital of the island, Pollentia, was located. Continue to the seaside resort of Puerto de Pollença, where you’ll find an expansive bay, a lively port, and an idyllic beach. Next, head to one of Mallorca’s most beautiful beaches, Formentor, renowned for its turquoise waters and fine white sand. On the way, stop at the Es Colomer viewpoint (weather permitting). Have lunch along the way. Return to the hotel at the end of the day. (B-L-D)

Day 5Magaluf

Free day in Magaluf, in the southwest of the island. A must-see coastal resort, Magaluf has it all—endless water activities, sweeping golden beaches, lively nightlife. Optional excursion to the delightful market at Sineu ($). (B-D)

Day 6Porto Cristo (170km)

Travel to Porto Cristo, a former fishing village that attracts visitors with its authentic and relaxing atmosphere. Visit the Drach Caves, followed by a classical music concert aboard a boat on Lake Martel, Europe’s largest underground lake, set within these impressive natural caves. Then tour a pearl factory. Head back to the hotel and spend the rest of the day as you please. (B-D)

Day 7Valldemossa (65km)

Take a half-day excursion to Valldemossa, one of the most remarkable historical villages in Mallorca. Visit the Valldemossa Charterhouse, a former monastery where Frédéric Chopin and the writer George Sand spent the winter of 1838 in private quarters. Explore this picturesque mountain village on your own. Don’t miss a stroll through the cobbled streets lined with stone houses, and be sure to taste the island’s signature sweet treat, coca de patata. Head back to the hotel and spend the rest of the day as you please. (B-D)
