Discover the region of Connemara. Watch a sheep dog demonstration. Enjoy lunch, followed by a photo stop at Kylemore Abbey, home to Benedictine nuns since 1920. Optional: Abbey tour ($). Continue on to Moycullen for a tour of the crystal factory. (B-L-D)
After breakfast, head to the lunar landscapes of the Burren. Stop at the spectacular Cliffs of Moher. Have lunch and continue on to County Kerry. Stop for photos in the village of Adare, founded in the 13th century. White Sands Hotel 3* or similar (B-L-D)
After breakfast, explore the Ring of Kerry, 170km of stunning scenery tempered by the Gulf Stream. Visit the open-air Kerry Bog Village Museum. Free time in Waterville. Carry on via Sneem and Mol’s Gap to Cork. Dinner and overnight accommodation in County Cork. West Cork Hotel 3* or similar (B-D)
Depart after breakfast to Midleton for a distillery tour and whisky tasting. En route to Kilkenny, stop for photos at Cashel Rock.
