Visit this remarkable location, home to one of the greatest concentrations of stelae and intricately carved monuments, featuring elaborate hieroglyphic inscriptions, making it one of the most refined artistic centers of the Maya world. Day 6Flores - Tikal - Flores (130km)

Departure for a visit to the Tikal site, located in the heart of dense jungle protected as a national park. This impressive site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, reflects the grandeur of a lost civilization and was likely inhabited as early as the 7th century BC by an ancestral Maya population. Ascent by vehicle to Cerro de la Cruz, offering panoramic views over Antigua and the dominating Agua Volcano.
