Discover the coverage and benefits of Recreational Vehicle Insurance

This insurance is complementary to your Auto Insurance. It includes several optional features that can be tailored to your needs.

If you are a member, some coverages are enhanced for you or are included!

Basic coverage

Civil liability insurance, also known as third-party liability, helps protect you in the event of an accident for which you are responsible. For example, if you damage someone else’s property (fence, house, etc.). Or, if you cause injury or fatality to a person in a province other than Quebec or in the United States.

In Quebec, regardless of the age of your vehicle, the law requires you to have liability coverage of at least $50,000 (car, recreative vehicle, motorcycle) or $1,000,000 (snowmobile, quad). However, insurers generally recommend coverage of $1 million or $2 million for all vehicles, especially if you travel outside of Quebec.

Exclusivity of the No-Stress Police®: CAA-Quebec members are entitled to coverage of up to $2 million at no additional cost (compared to a coverage of $1 million).

Additional coverage and options

This coverage compensates you for damage caused to your vehicle in the event of a collision, rollover, etc. For recreational vehicles, the minimum deductible is $500.

This coverage can compensate you for loss or damage to your vehicle caused by most disasters, such as: fire, theft, vandalism, broken glass, collision with an animal or person, or adverse weather conditions.

You won’t have to pay any deductible to replace your keys or have them recoded, up to $500! What’s more, this claim does not increase your premium.

Exclusivity of the No-Stress Police®: this coverage is included for members.

This option covers you if your vehicle is damaged in a hit-and-run or is declared a total loss. You won’t have to pay any deductible.

Exclusivity of the No-Stress Police®: this coverage is included for members.

You get coverage of up to $100,000 in the event of damage to a vehicle rented in Canada or the United States. This way, you don’t have to take out the expensive insurance offered by rental car companies!

Exclusivity of the No-Stress Police®: this coverage is included for members.

This coverage compensates you for certain costs you may incur for car rental, cab or public transit if you are unable to use the insured vehicle due to a covered loss.

Exclusivity of the No-Stress Police®: This coverage is included for CAA-Quebec members. It offers up to $3500 in compensation for the rental of a vehicle following damage, and up to $2000 for additional expenses incurred during a trip.
