Pet Insurance is a product designed to help pet owners manage the cost of veterinary care. By helping policyholders cope with these unexpected costs, Pet Insurance enables them to make informed decisions about their pet’s medical care without worrying about the financial implications.

Pets Plus Us policies reimburse eligible veterinary expenses incurred for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a covered condition. Examinations and follow-ups, X-rays, ultrasounds, blood tests, surgeries, stitches, medications and prescriptions, as well as prescribed diets, are all examples of expenses that can be claimed if they are involved in the diagnosis or treatment of a covered condition.

Pets Plus Us offers insurance plans for all cats and dogs, regardless of breed.

Yes! Pets Plus Us plans reimburse eligible expenses incurred for care provided by any licensed veterinarian in Canada, and even in the United States should something happen while travelling (currency will not be exchanged). They also cover the costs of veterinary specialists and emergency veterinarians.

Access portal.petsplusus.com to view and download documents related to your Pets Plus Us policy. This portal also allows you to update your contact information, access your claim forms, and review frequently asked questions.

* It may take up to 72 hours for the preferred Pet Insurance rate to be available to new CAA-Quebec members.

CAA-Quebec members receive a preferred rate of 13.5% discount. Non-members receive a preferred rate of 9% discount. Discounts are based on premium rate available to members of the public prior to applicable taxes. 

All Pets Plus Us Pet insurance plans have limitations and exclusions. Specific products, features, rates, eligibility, and discounts are subject to change. 

Medical conditions that are observed, symptomatic, or diagnosed prior to enrolment or during a waiting period are considered pre-existing and are not eligible for coverage.
