Montreal Electric Vehicle Show: CAA-Quebec is ready to talk
At Olympic Stadium, April 19 to 21, the Montreal Electric & Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle Show (SVEM) has the latest innovations in cars, charging technology, and sustainable mobility.
As a proud SVEM partner since the show first began in 2017, CAA-Quebec will be there to inform and advise visitors on the benefits of transportation electrification and untangle any and all related issues. Whether you’re looking at new or used, there are a lot of questions about buying an electric vehicle.
Automotive experts Jesse Caron and Maxime Dubois will be on site for talks and discussions every day of the show. Their workshop, entitled “Your EV questions: Our tips and tricks,” is all about audience participation. Charging, financial assistance, battery durability, winter driving—our specialists cover the entire EV ownership experience.
The talk “Buying a used EV—and keeping it going” offers guidance not just on choosing a used model, but on maintaining it as it ages.

“SVEM is a unique opportunity to discover the technological advances that are shaping the future of mobility. Our mission is to help our members transition to more sustainable modes of travel.”
—Pierre-Serge Labbé, Vice-President, Mobility Services
Mandatory stop: the CAA-Quebec booth
Visitors can get up close and personal with a charging station and an electric bike, both available at the CAA-Quebec Boutique. Our specialists can also refer them for the installation of a home charging station through the CAA-Quebec Network of Approved Suppliers.
Is electric vehicle insurance really more expensive? What if your vehicle has to be written off in a market where delivery often takes months? Agents will be on hand to help visitors clear up all their many questions about shopping for electric vehicle insurance.
As a bonus, CAA-Quebec members get $2 off on every admission when they present their membership card at the Olympic Stadium box office.
Have questions?
CAA-Quebec Automotive Advisory Services can answer members’ many questions about vehicles, driving, and safety or coach them on shopping. Incidentally, the Sans détour podcast is a perfect way to learn more about electric mobility.
