CAA-Quebec has been supporting Operation Red Nose volunteers for 30 years!
The 40th edition of the Operation Red Nose (ORN) safe ride home campaign kicked off a few weeks ago. This edition also marks the 30th anniversary of CAA-Quebec’s involvement as the volunteers’ official towing partner. As such, from now until December 31, 2023, our patrollers will be on call across Quebec, assisting volunteers in the event of roadside mishaps.
CAA-Quebec has been offering its Roadside Assistance services at no charge to ORN volunteers and users since 1993. This partnership would have been impossible without the invaluable collaboration of the Operation Red Nose team and its network of partners, together with the network of CAA-Quebec Roadside Assistance affiliates, whose contribution brings such initiatives to life. Road safety is a core value for CAA-Quebec, and its involvement over the past 30 years is a great way to make Quebec roads safer, one safe ride home at a time.
30 employee volunteers for 30 years of assistance!
To celebrate this venerable milestone, some 30 employees from all departments of the organization took part in a safe ride home night. It was an inspiring experience, filled with encounters and sharing … not to mention the feeling of doing one’s part to ensure road safety and contribute to the success of this edition of Operation Red Nose, which will run until December 31.

With the support of its two main partners, Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec and Desjardins, Operation Red Nose offers a volunteer-run Safe Ride Service and coordinates various awareness-raising activities throughout the year.
