CAA-Quebec, a key stop at the Quebec Electric Vehicle Show

Published on September 14, 2023

Buying or renting an electric vehicle (EV) may be one thing. Figuring out how to charge it efficiently, what distance you’ll be able to cover in winter, or whether you’ll be eligible for government incentives, is quite another. Thanks to the presence of CAA-Quebec, visitors to the Quebec Electric and Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle Show will walk away with all the tips they need to successfully make the transition to an EV.

Imagine being able to see and drive EVs from some fifteen makes all under one roof! That’s exactly what the third edition of the Quebec Electric and Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle Show is all about, which runs from September 15 to 17, 2023, at the ExpoCité Exhibition Centre. After they’ve had their fill of the latest products, or before they test drive the model they’re interested in, visitors can drop by the CAA-Quebec booth, located right next to the Show’s central area, to enjoy personalized advice on buying and operating an EV.

Insights from mobility experts

Battery durability, electric versus plug-in hybrid choice, home charging station purchase: these are just three of the many topics that will fuel the conversation between our specialists and the public.

“Our experts are hearing more and more specific questions about EVs, and they’re well equipped to answer them. They’re thrilled at the opportunity to broaden the discussion at the Show, since everybody will be driving an EV in a not-so-distant future.”

— Pierre-Serge Labbé, Vice-President, Mobility Services

For all those looking to learn more, auto experts Jesse Caron and Maxime Dubois will take to the stage every day at the Espace conférences Fondation CAA-Québec to host the “Your questions about EVs: our tips and tricks” panel presentation. A golden opportunity to get answers to all your queries! The experts will also hold a conference on buying and maintaining a used EV, useful for both those shopping for a new car and those who already own one.

Exclusive member services … plus a contest

A visit to the CAA-Quebec booth will also be a great way to discover the products, services and discounts offered by the organization to current and future electromobilists. To name but a few, members will discover that they can benefit from rebates on the purchase of a home charging station from Lumen or HydroSolution. Visitors will also be able to discuss with a CAA-Quebec Home and Auto Insurance agent to better understand how the premium for EVs is impacted.

Attendees at the Show can also enter the Drive Electric with CAA-Quebec contest for a chance to win a $1,000 CAA-Quebec Travel credit, one of two $500 CAA-Quebec gift cards or a $500 CAA-Quebec Auto Insurance credit.

To top it all off, the first 70 CAA-Quebec members to enter the Exhibition Centre ticket counter each day will benefit from a $3 discount per primary membership, simply by producing their member card.
