A record number of electric models ready for test drives at the 2024 Québec City International Auto Show

Whether they’re looking to purchase or simply curious, visitors to the Québec City International Auto Show (SIAQ), to be held from March 5 to 10 at Centre de foires de Québec, will be able to try out a number of electric vehicles. And they’ll be spoiled for choice: twenty models are on the test-drive list, and it’s all orchestrated by CAA-Quebec.

As a loyal partner of auto shows, CAA-Quebec will provide SIAQ visitors with models for all tastes: fully electric cars, plug-in hybrids, family vehicles, more stylish versions, and many more. These road tests are made possible with support from the Running Electric campaign funded by the Government of Quebec as part of the 2030 Plan for a Green Economy. Offered in partnership with SIAQ, the road tests also benefit from the support of Leviton, which is providing free charging stations.

Interestingly, most of the models on site are eligible for at least one government subsidy.

How it works

Test drives are available to people aged 25 and over with a valid driver’s licence. Media representatives are also invited to discover all the benefits of electric mobility. Details on the test-drive models, schedule, and location are available on the CAA-Quebec website. For the best chance of driving the vehicle you’re interested in, we strongly recommend signing up at the CAA-Quebec booth, located at the end of the test-drive route, when you arrive at the show.
