Winter may have come late this year, but Roadside Assistance is always there when it counts!
Who can forget the harsh winter weather of 2022? In January alone, our patrollers responded to 117,729 assistance calls, which is a 28-year record! Although our Roadside Assistance Services (RAS) were in high demand, our teams rose to the occasion, with CAA-Quebec taking the top spot for the lowest average wait times in North America.
It’s the first time in CAA-Quebec’s history that the association has managed to surpass its Canadian and American counterparts (CAA and AAA) for average RAS wait times in the past twelve months. And it’s all thanks to the many CAA-Quebec teams who work hard every day to provide timely, top-notch service.
RAS was also featured on TV!

On top of excelling on the job, our patrollers recently made it onto your screens! These televised interviews gave people an inside glimpse into winter patrolling, from the basics of working with a tow truck to the day-to-day aboard a Battery Service vehicle. Winter is just getting started
The first few days of February reminded us that winter is far from over. There are more cold snaps and snow storms in store. Why not take advantage of a warmer day to get your battery tested by our Battery Service? Did you know that at -30°C, your battery will be at about 25% of its maximum strength when starting your car? And even then, it has to be in good condition. Get ready to weather the cold with our many tips, available on our website, on Instagram, and on TikTok!
