Montreal Electric and Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle Show: CAA-Québec will be on site!

Published on August 2, 2021

How long does an electric vehicle’s (EV) battery last? What should I choose between a fully electric model and a plug-in hybrid? Is a used EV worth it? CAA-Québec will answer these and other questions at the comeback edition of the Montreal Electric and Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle Show (MEVS).

After a two-and-a-half-year hiatus, the MEVS will return September 17–19. As its organizers had planned for 2020, exhibitors and visitors will meet on the Olympic Stadium’s field during this edition. Far larger than Place Bonaventure, where the first three editions of the MEVS were held, this site will accommodate a greater number of visitors, in compliance with current health measures.

Come meet our experts

CAA-Québec automotive expert Jesse Caron will be there to give a daily presentation on EV myths and truths, as well as another on buying a used electric vehicle. Visitors will learn about EV types, charging, vehicle autonomy and government discounts, as well as battery life and EV maintenance.

CAA-Québec’s booth will be located just across from the conference area. Experts in transportation electrification, eco-driving and road safety will be available there throughout the show to talk with people. Visitors can also discover the organization’s many services for members that own an EV.

The MEVS will feature over 80 exhibitors from the EV industry, including owner associations, charging stations manufacturers, public agency representatives and even electric bike distributors. About fifteen car manufacturers will also showcase their electric models.
