Electric vehicles take the (virtual) stage during Auto Show Month

Published on March 2, 2021

A fully electric vehicle or a plug-in hybrid? What battery range is best for your needs? Do electric vehicle (EV) batteries have a long life? It’s Auto Show Month, and CAA-Quebec is ready to answer these and other questions you might have about EVs.

In a normal year, CAA-Quebec lets visitors to the Quebec City International Auto Show take EV models for a test drive on site. Sadly the pandemic has put the brakes on that in 2021. Not to worry. The show organizers have found a safe way to hold the event, and CAA-Quebec has found another way to get involved and give you the information you need.

Auto Show Month features 2021 models presented by over 100 dealers from the greater Quebec City area, exclusive videos, a family zone, articles about the latest industry trends, and contests galore!

CAA-Quebec continues to educate consumers about EVs

As a Green Zone partner, CAA-Quebec will be available to answer questions motorists have about electric vehicles.

We’ll be broadcasting four brand new audio clips on how to choose the right EV for your needs, EVs and the trials of winter, EV range and how recharging works, and the cost effectiveness of an EV.

Auto Show Month participants can also watch two videos on the various types of EV and the current market and on the maintenance and durability of EVs and their high-voltage batteries.

How to take part

The event will take place online from March 1 to 31, 2021. To take part, simply register on the Auto Show Month website and go to the virtual event. It’s open to all and it’s free.
