Rules - Win Your Next Vacation – 1st edition Contest
1. Contest Organizer and Duration
1.1 The Win Your Next Vacation contest (the “Contest”) is held by Automobile et Touring Club du Québec (A.T.C.Q.), doing business as CAA-Quebec (the “Organizer”).
1.2 The Contest begins on June 1, 2026, at 12:01a.m. and ends on August 31, 2026, at 11:59p.m. (the “Contest Period”). The date and time of receipt of entries will determine their eligibility for the Contest.
2. Eligibility
2.1 To be eligible to enter the Contest, the entrant must:
-Be a resident of the province of Quebec; and
-Have reached the age of majority established in the province of Quebec at the time of entry.
2.2 Employees, representatives, agents, and mandataries of the Organizer, its affiliated companies and subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, sponsors, and suppliers of materials, prizes, and services related to the Contest, as well as any person domiciled with the aforementioned (whether related or not) and any member of their immediate family (father, mother, brother[s], sister[s], child[ren], partners, spouse by the bonds of marriage or de facto) are, however, excluded
2.3 For the purposes of these official rules (the “Rules”), the entrant is the person holding a CAA-Quebec Travel Insurance policy purchased during the Contest Period, or the person whose name appears on an entry submitted by mail during the Contest Period, in accordance with these Rules, as the case may be (the “Entrant”).
3. How to enter
3.1 No purchase is required to enter the Contest or to win the Prize.
3.2 To enter the Contest, the Entrant must, during the Contest Period, proceed in one of the following ways in order to be entered into the Contest and have a chance to win the Prize:
Entry by purchasing CAA-Quebec Travel Insurance
During the Contest Period, any eligible person who purchases a CAA-Quebec Travel Insurance policy and whose name appears as the primary insured on said insurance policy—i.e., the policyholder—automatically receives one (1) entry into the Contest and a chance to win the Prize. The policyholder will automatically receive an additional Contest entry in one and/or more of the following cases: (i) one (1) additional entry for each additional insured added to their CAA-Quebec Travel Insurance policy purchased during the Contest Period; (ii) one (1) additional entry if the policyholder is a member in good standing of CAA-Quebec; and (iii) one (1) additional entry upon purchasing an annual CAA-Quebec Travel Insurance policy; and (iiii) one (1) additional entry if the holder of an annual CAA-Quebec Travel Insurance policy enrolls in automatic renewal of their insurance policy. The entries described above are cumulative to the extent that the various scenarios are met. For greater certainty, insureds other than the policyholder are not considered Entrants for the purposes of the Contest and may not, under any circumstances, be declared winners of the Prize.
Entry by mail
To enter the Contest without purchasing a CAA-Quebec Travel Insurance policy, and thus have a chance to win the Prize, an eligible person must, during the Contest Period, (i) write an original handwritten text of one hundred (100) words explaining why they wish to win the Prize; (ii) legibly include, following their text, their first name, last name, full address (including postal code), phone number (including area code), and email address; (iii) sign their text; and (iv) send everything, by mail, in a sufficiently stamped envelope to the following address:
“Win Your Next Vacation” Contest
Marketing Department – CAA-Quebec
444 Rue Bouvier

The envelope must be postmarked no later than August 31, 2026; the postmark being conclusive evidence thereof, failing which the entry will be void. The content of each entry submitted by mail must be unique and photocopies will not be accepted.

All fees and expenses not specifically mentioned above as being included in the Prize are the winner’s responsibility.
4.5 The Prize is non-negotiable and must be accepted “as is” and as awarded, without any warranty, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).
4.6 The Prize may not be substituted for another prize, except by the Organizer at its sole discretion. The Organizer reserves the right to substitute the Prize for another prize of equal or greater value if the Prize cannot be awarded as described herein for any reason.

5.2 The odds of winning the Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
6. Prize award
6.1 In order to be declared a winner and claim the Prize, the selected Entrant must:

Upon contact by the Organizer, whether by telephone or email, the selected Entrant must follow the instructions communicated by the Organizer or its representatives at that time, as applicable. If the Organizer receives an email delivery failure notice, it may, at its sole discretion, attempt to reach the Entrant by telephone or disqualify the Entrant;

- duly complete and sign the release form and return it to the Organizer within five (5) days of receipt, either (i) by email, in scanned format, or (ii) by mail, to the mailing address indicated in the release form instructions;
- comply with all Contest conditions set out in these Rules; and
- upon request and in a timely manner, provide photo identification and/or any other document deemed necessary by the Organizer to confirm eligibility.
6.2 Failure to comply with any of the conditions mentioned above, or any other condition set out in these Rules, will result in the selected Entrant’s entry being declared void, and a new draw may be conducted to award the Prize in accordance with these Rules, until a winner is declared.
6.3 The information provided by the selected Entrant upon contact by the Organizer must be complete and truthful. The Organizer shall not be held responsible for any prize claim that is late, misdirected, or incomplete.
6.4 In the event that (i) the Organizer or its representatives are unable to reach the selected Entrant within the allotted time, after having taken reasonable steps to do so; or (ii) the selected Entrant fails to return the release form within the allotted time; or (iii) the selected Entrant informs the Organizer or its representative, upon being contacted to be notified of their selection in the draw, that they refuse the Prize, are not interested in receiving the Prize, or is rude or aggressive toward the Organizer or its representatives; or (iv) the selected Entrant breaches these Rules in any way; said selected Entrant will be disqualified and the Organizer may, at its sole discretion, cancel the prize or conduct a new draw in accordance with the terms set out in these Rules, until a winner is identified for the Prize.

The Entrant in question may be referred to the appropriate judicial authorities.

SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE ORGANIZER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT THE ENTRIES OF THE ENTRANT IN QUESTION AND TO PURSUE ANY AND ALL REMEDIES AVAILABLE UNDER THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
7.9 Technical failure and early termination: In the event that the computer system is unable to record all Contest entries during the Contest Period for any reason whatsoever, or if the Contest were to end, in whole or in part, prior to the end date set out in these Rules, the draw may be conducted, at the Organizer’s discretion, among the entries duly recorded during the Contest Period or, as applicable, up to the date of the event that caused the Contest to end.
7.10 Communication: No communication or correspondence will be exchanged with Entrants in connection with this Contest other than in accordance with these Rules or at the Organizer’s initiative.
7.11 Privacy and personal information: Personal information collected from Entrants in connection with the Contest will be used solely for the administration of the Contest.
