Every year, CAA-Quebec conducts an easy-to-consult study on vehicle warranties. This study allows you to compare the warranties offered by all Canadian automakers at a glance.

Warranties can vary significantly from one vehicle to another. Some manufacturers offer coverage of up to 10 years on the power train, whereas others offer a full 5-year warranty.

Remember to read the small print concerning the specific coverage, because restrictions may apply.

Finally, keep in mind that the automaker’s warranty always begins on the date the vehicle is first driven on the road, not the moment at which a vehicle of a given model year is launched.
