Fly to Zagreb.

Day 2Zagreb

Day 3Zagreb

Take a guided (outdoor) tour of Zagreb starting in upper town at St. Mark’s Square to see the multicoloured church roof, Sabor Palace, Banski dvori (government seat), the Lotršcak Tower, and the stone gate. Ride the funicular into the lower town to explore Ban-Jelacic Square and the pedestrian walkways. (B)

Day 4Zagreb – Opatija (174km)

Travel to Opatija and check in at the hotel. Spend the rest of the day as you please in this magnificent seaside resort. Adriatic Hotel 3* (B)

Day 5Opatija – Pula – Rovinj – Opatija (295km)

Head to Pula for a guided tour, including the famous Roman amphitheatre, the Temple of Augustus, and the Arch of Sergii. Continue to Rovinj and enjoy some free time to explore this stunning natural site with abundant pines and olive trees. Next head to Motovun to admire some of the best-preserved medieval walls in Istria and spend some free time in the village before returning to Opatija. (B-D)

Day 6Opatija – Plitvice (164km)

Day 7Plitvice – Zadar – Trogir (248km)

Leave for Zadar, jewel of the Croatian coast that blends historical charm and modernity. Continue to Trogir, a charming medieval town and UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its cobblestone streets, Venetian palaces, and St. Lawrence Cathedral. Day 8Trogir – Split – Trogir (54km)

Day 9Trogir

Day 11Dubrovnik
