This Contest is presented by CAA-Quebec’s Approved Auto Repair Services outlets (the “Contest Organizer”). It is being held from October 16, 2017, to December 31, 2017.

If the winner owns an electric vehicle, they will instead receive one (1) Electric Circuit charge card worth one thousand dollars ($1,000), as well as twenty-five (25) Couche-Tard gift cards worth thirty dollars ($30) each, and one CAA-Quebec gift card worth seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750).
In the event that the winner resides in a region not served by Couche-Tard, the winner will receive one CAA-Quebec gift card worth twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500).
The prize value is based on annual fuel consumption (city/highway) of a compact SUV with an annual distance travelled of eighteen thousand kilometres (18,000 km) and regular gasoline purchased at an average price of one dollar and twenty nine cents ($1.129).

The Prize must be accepted as awarded. Should a winner be unable to claim a prize as awarded, no compensation or substitution will be granted by the Contest Organizer, its subsidiaries or suppliers, or by any other party associated with the Prize.
In no case can the Contest Organizer, its associated companies, their suppliers of products, materials or services related to this Contest, or their employees, agents or representatives be obliged to award a greater number of prizes than indicated in these Rules and Regulations, or award a prize other than in accordance with these Rules and Regulations.
The Contest begins on Monday, October 16, 2017, at midnight ET and ends on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Period”).
The prize draw will take place on Monday, January 15, 2018, at the head office of CAA-Quebec, au 444, rue Bouvier, Quebec City, Quebec G2J 1E3.
The Contest Organizer will attempt to contact the potential winner by telephone during the four (4) working days following the draw. Proof of identity shall be provided upon request. To be declared a winner, each potential winner must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within four (4) working days following the draw, the Contest Organizer will proceed with another draw following the same procedure until such time as a winner is declared.
Before receiving their Prize, the potential winner must sign and return, within the time limit determined by the Contest Organizer, a Declaration and Release Form stating that they have read and understood these Rules and Regulations; grant all consents required; that they authorize the Contest Organizer and sponsors to broadcast, publish and disseminate their name, address, photograph, likeness, sobriquet and voice, in connection with any promotion or publicity, and/or for general news, entertainment and information purposes at no additional compensation to the potential winner, beyond the awarding of or participation in the Prize; that they accept the Prize as offered; and that they release the Contest Organizer, its partners and the sponsors of the Contest from any and all liability of any kind arising out of the potential winner’s participation in this Contest and acceptance and use of the Prize. In the event that the potential winner fails to sign the Declaration and Release Form, they will be considered to have forfeited the Prize, and the Prize will be cancelled.
In the event that the potential winner does not comply with all the provisions as stipulated in these Rules and Regulations, the Contest Organizer shall have the right to disqualify the potential winner and proceed to draw the name of another contestant, and the sponsors, the Contest Organizer and the partners of the Contest shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard. The provisions and procedures referred to above relating to selection and announcement of a potential winner, if applicable, shall be applied, with the necessary amendments, until a qualified winner has been duly selected.
By entering this Contest, entrants automatically agree to accept and abide by these Rules and Regulations. All decisions by the Contest Organizer with respect to any aspect of this Contest, including limitation of eligibility of entries, are final and binding on all entrants in all matters as they relate to this Contest.
Eligible winners shall have ten (10) working days after the time they are contacted by a CAA Quebec representative in which to return the Declaration and Release Form to the address indicated thereupon.
Failure by a potential winner to respect any of the conditions set out herein shall result in disqualification and forfeiting of the Prize. In such event, the Contest Organizer will cancel the prize awarded.
The Contest Organizer reserves the right to disqualify an individual or to cancel one or more entries by an individual entering or attempting to enter the Contest by non-compliant means or in a manner that is prejudicial to other entrants. Such individuals may be reported to the appropriate legal authorities.
Before declaring a winner, the Contest Organizer reserves the right to verify all entries by an individual.
The odds of winning the Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
The Contest Organizer, employees of CAA-Quebec, the sponsors, participating partners or any other subsidiary, advertising and promotional agencies, their employees, agents and representatives, as well as suppliers of materials, prizes and services, cannot be held responsible for the malfunction of any computer equipment, communication line or software relating to the loss or absence of network communication or any communication that is defective, incomplete, incomprehensible, or deleted by any computer or network, and which may limit or prevent anyone from entering or potentially entering the Contest.
The Contest Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contest, in whole or in part, should an event or human intervention occur that could compromise or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Contest, as provided for in these Rules and Regulations, if required.
Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately sabotage or undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest will result in automatic disqualification. CAA-Quebec reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the extent permitted by law.
In addition, the Contest Organizer, the sponsors, participating partners and their employees, advertising and promotional agencies, their employees, agents and representatives, as well as suppliers of materials, prizes and services, cannot be held responsible for any loss, harm or damages, including personal injury, death and property damage, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Prize.
The Prize shall be sent to the winners by registered mail.
This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. All applicable charges, taxes and duties (whether local, provincial, federal or international), are the sole responsibility of the winner and must be paid by the winner.

In the event of discrepancies between the French and English versions of these Rules and Regulations, the French version shall prevail.
Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
