it is logical to fill up your tank.

the situation is appropriate and consistent with the market for the consumer and the merchant.

it would be wise to buy only the minimum amount of gasoline that you need. If you can do that while waiting for the price to fall enough to reflect the main petroleum market indicators, you will be doing your part and expressing your dissatisfaction in your own way as a consumer.

The daily gasoline acquisition cost indicator

The daily acquisition cost indicator is calculated by CAA-Quebec by adding up the rack price provided by Bloomberg in its Oil Buyers Guide, transportation costs published by the Régie de l'énergie, and applicable taxes. The indicator varies from one day to the next based on several influencing factors.

What factors influence the pump price?

Pump prices are influenced by several uncontrollable factors…

How is the price of a litre of gasoline determined?

The price you pay for each litre of gasoline is made up of several components. Once again, changes can affect one of the components and alter the overall price.

How can you save money on your fuel costs?

Did you know that you can improve your vehicle’s total consumption by up to 40% by following a few relatively simple rules?
