Vehicle Transport and Preparation Charges
The 2007 edition of CAA-Quebec’s study of vehicle transport and preparation charges reveals that these fees, which consumers must pay when buying a new vehicle, are on the rise. While they rarely amounted to more than $1,000 just a few years ago, the average charges are now in the range of $1,200 . Moreover, such charges are not included in the list prices of vehicles.
